Part-time Administrative Assistant to the Religious School Director

Opening for school year 24-25; position starting July 22, 2024
Duties and Responsibilities
● Create and maintain class contact lists, schedules and calendars
● Prepare communications to school families, students and staff
● Write and edit documents
● Track teacher attendance and substitutes
● Prepare semi-monthly payroll report
● Create promotional material and flyers
● Coordinate and oversee maintenance and set up of classrooms
● Answer phones and emails and greet visitors
● Order classroom and office materials and supplies
● Assist Director with student pick-ups and dismissals
Skills and Qualifications
● Organized
● Detail oriented
● Collaborative
● Tech savvy - Must have good computer skills and a willingness to learn.
● Writing and editing
● Familiarity with the Hebrew alphabet and Jewish calendar and life cycle.
● Child friendly
15 hours per week; Sunday 8:00 am – 1:30 pm, Tuesday 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm, plus flex hours.
Rate - $20 per hour
